ABOUT ASTREA

I started to travel and explore as one of the ways to “break free” and find answers. 

It helped a big deal in the discovery of my path to freedom. Seeing and experiencing different cultures helped me undo layers of cultural and family conditioning in a very deep way. At this moment, I have been living over 19 years outside my country of origin, the Netherlands. The longest of that time I have lived in Yucatan, Mexico. Land of the Maya. 

Another way I started to unravel “the Truth” (of Who we are, why we are here) was by diving into my personal spiritual journey by studying and by my many life experiences. I got a college degree in counseling/ pedagogy, and I took many classes, workshops and sessions in the arts of energy healing (vortexhealing, Reiki, aura reading and healing, bodywork etc.) and personal development. And then I had my shares of heartache.

But my main realizations came from deeply connecting to the Sacred Maya Lands in ceremony, in the caves and in the cenotes (sacred waters). It was a deep activation and re-membering for me on a cellular level .  

My discoveries around “who we are” as Multi-dimensional Beings, woke up the passion of my Soul. It has given me a deep sense of peace, love and power. 

I am more than humbled to now be able to guide people Home to that same place…  To Freedom. To Love. To Re-Connection.  I do this in different ways, mainly by ceremonial work and by 1:1 energy Soul sessions. 

A sense of humor and groundedness are important parts of my life work.
